Had to read it twice through to appreciate everything it says and I found it much better the second time around. The idea of a 'sucky' Mal is quite a sight and justified every once and a while I think.

Loved the last line especially, but the rest was a precious glimpse into Mal and Zoe friendship.

This made me chuckle and I could so see the scene play out in my head. Sure hope they cleaned up the mess they almost stepped in when they first boarded Serenity before they settled down to sleep. Just love this jackwabbit. Ali D :~)
