 Dixie Darlin chapter 1 . 3/28/2014 oh man that was the perfect verse for him to find. I like how they started their search looking for actual lions lol. Nice touch having Susan try to love her worldly England as much as Narnia, looking in the wrong places for the love she once felt with Aslan. Makes her rather tragic. |

| Arael Lassie chapter 1 . 8/5/2008 Oh, how delightful! I adore "When We Were Kings," but somehow I missed this prologue until now. You did a wonderful job here. Peter, Susan, and the Professor are all deliciously in-character and believable, and each plays the proper role. I like the idea that it wasn't simply frivolity that made Susan try to forget Narnia, but that there was a deeper hurt underneath it. I also think it's fitting that the High King should be the first of the Four to learn Aslan's name in our world, and that the Professor be the one to show it to him. |
| King Caspian the Seafarer chapter 1 . 7/15/2008 Wow...very well written. Great verse. I need to memorize that one. I wondered how Peter and the others found Aslan in this world. I'm quite sure they did. ;) I also like how Peter was looking everywhere for Aslan, and then Professor Kirke just hands him the Bible and he "happens" to open it to Proverbs 8:17.
