I'm really shocked I've never reviewed these — I'm so sure I read them (YEARS ago now), but anyways here I am! I remembered how much I used to love/was inspired by your stuff and looked you up again. These are all really wonderful — I'm really impressed with how much you express in just a few lines. Some of my favorites are Prison, Blade, Sing, Blossoms, Drowning (LOVE this one, you've managed to create a whole world in what, a paragraph?), and my ABSOLUTE favorite is the armor one, it is FABULOUS. I've wanted forever to do a JatD AU marginally like this one involving bio-armor — and had no idea this one had been written already and so GLORIOUS and so SHORT. If this is something you ever continue or make longer, dear lord let me know because I am fuckin THERE man. It was wonderfully written, Jane and Gunther are so in character no matter the century, and I love the way they fight despite the armor being meant for a team (the look into the vitals of the other person is wow, that definitely has some interesting implications). Smithy at the end was perfect, and your casting of who they'd be in this future is flawless as well. Not sure what you've been up to lately because I can see this is quite old now, but I hope you come back around to JatD at some point no matter the story (though I vote this one! — I'll definitely keep thinking of it in the future, I can tell, regardless of whether it stops here or goes on).

Seriously I was just heartbroken after reading this! Although it does lack in specifics, I feel as if that made the monent much more tender. Jane and Gunther knew what they were referring to and I didn't have to know in order to sympathize with them. I seear I've read so many of thr character death ffs but this one really got to me, it was short and sad. Very well done

ARGH. I regret reading this so, so much because now I feel like I NEED these stories. This felt like I was reading summaries for several different books and I wanted to buy and read ALL of them. Holy cow, seriously so well written. I usually don't read drabbles but I'm very glad I read yours...and very sad LOL. I especially love the AU ones because I always tried to imagine AUs for this show but failed miserably, but your AUs were so well-versed that I envisioned them perectly. That AU ficlet with Gunther and his abuse-and Jane and-and- GAHFKDNS. It was so sad and wonderful and great great job.

The futuristic concept really is the cherry on the cake. I would love to see a full story just on this one concept but seeing as it has been a while I guess I should just be satisfied with the delight I had on reading this fic. I will be around waiting, hoping that my wishes really come true, hoping that the story will continue.

I think I loved the first fix in this chapter best, though the rest were great too. It really captured their character in a modern setting and on a believable circumstance.

At loss for words with this chapter. But to put it simple, it was great

I'm so glad to see fic from you. :D It's well written and you gave me some fascinating characterisation to read here - even without familiarity with the canon, this is a very interesting personality conflict. I also like what you did with the science fiction setting! Very cool. Reminds me a lot of various battlesuit anime, with Gunther's backstory as the seemingly privileged trainee with the overbearing father and Jane the trainee working her own way up to the top with a slight chip on her shoulder (though I have the impression that Jane's generally very reasonable). Very neat one-shot! Bravo.
