Read it in one sitting and it was certainly worth it! While a bit abrupt, I’m ultimately satisfied with how it ended. Bittersweet in the best way.

well, this is certainly going on my favorites list. danny’s alive, d17 isn’t 100% dead, and danny is relatively safe and happy. who can complain? this was a wonderful story. i’ve read a couple other of yer stories as and was hooked. yer a wonderful writer! keep it up! and thanks again fer sharing yer ideas! you rock!

well, no one died... and no one because a mindless vlad zombie... i guess i could let this slide. i won’t feel better unless d17 either gets out and becomes danny’s brother or just... assimilated with danny’s consciousness. cuzbthats def better than melting/becoming a glob forever.

it’s like reading a christopher pike book. you get attached to characters, but you just shouldn’t have hope for them because they just end up either dead, traumatized, too far gone, or in some weird shape that you can no longer recognize. i still have hope that danny gets out of vlad’s clutches and goes back to recover with his real family, but i’m also not bringing them up too high. is pike yer inspiration? *squints at* e.e

i hope real danny can escape soon. i hope this isn’t one of yer famous bad endings story. i know how fond you are of them! or it could just be i’m attracted to angst...

tbh, when danny clone started cleaning his room, i though vlad has somehow possessed him without him noticing or some shit. i was like, ‘that would be weird, that’s like, a worse violation since he’s an old dude, too.” but then he started hitting on sam.

awh, poor danny. because at the end of the day, he is danny. just a clone, but still a person. :c i don’t like evil, sadistic vlad.

Suuuuuuuch a good story! An almost unforeseeable ending and 3 dimensional characters and plot. Definitely a must-read for all those Danny Phantom fans out there.

Wow! This was amazing! It was so well thought up and so neatly written! The pain D17 went through was so terrible, and even though he wanted to steal Danny’s life and kill Jack at one point, you made me like him still. I ended up not wanting him to die at the end, and I wanted Danny to be freed and to be okay and you made it work, in a very unique way. I would have never guessed that to be the ending. Good job! This was awesome!

If I'm reading the dates right then it's been a long while since you've touched this story. That makes me sad because I really want to know how this ultimately finishes. I just discovered this yesterday and read it straight through (I was up til midnight). Please take pity.

AHH MY HEART! Oh this was so good. Seriously. And the first person POV really worked here. Just, honestly, nicely done. My heart is on the floor in pieces.

Now Danny had a whole new paradox to him! I wonder what would happen if he brought it up to his friends and sister? Would they be appalled? Angry? Would they try to fix him? Maybe storm up to Vlad and demand he fix Danny?
Oh gosh, what if, if and when Danny tells his parents about his ghost half he also reveals he's not exactly Danny? The amount of pain and sadness that could be brought up at that moment has my heart already weeping.
Oh man, and what if he has a confrontation with Vlad? It would have to happen eventually. The fact that he hasn't made a move immidiatly has me wondering how badly he was injured or if he's reconsidered his plans. I wonder if Vlad would be able to figure out that Danny and D17 fused?

Aaahhhh! Just so many questions! Oh how I want more! But this ending is also just so perfect! The right mesh of bitter and sweet.

(Real question tho, why wasn't clockwork in his tower? He would have known they'd come, and he probably purposefully showed them that scene. Did the observants scold him too much for meddling haha)
