Light is completely in character and I loved how the OC wanted him in his dark side rather than the light one (no pun intended). It was very mature and the slow build romance was perfect.

It was a great story. A light xOC couldn't be better than this one! I've read so many lightxOC but this touched me the most. Amazing. Hats off to you author. There are a lil bit of mistakes. But putting them aside, THIS WAS WONDERFUL! I was so touched by the relationship between Kino and Light! OMG. LOVE IT, JUST LOVED IT!

I wasn't gonna say anything but I guess in the end I just couldn't help it, hah. In the fourth line of this chapter, there is mention of some 'wanton' soup. If you are referring to the Chinese based broth, the more conventional spelling is 'wonton'. In fact, I have never come across a case where the spelling 'wanton' is used. More importantly, 'wanton' has a number of other meanings, including 'deliberate and unprovoked' and 'sexually immodest or promiscuous' (Wikipedia). This, as you can imagine, can render the interpretation of the sentence at best, ambiguous and at worst, comical. I wasn't sure whether or not you were aware of this fact so I thought I would mention it in this review. Please don't take this the wrong way, I am not criticizing your writing. It may be pedantic of me, but I felt it needed to be said.

Though some people have considered your character to be a Mary-sue, I don't agree with them at all. Those idiots don't know the real meaning of Mary-sue. Kino has gone through hardships and hurt inside, despite not showing it on her expression. Something that sounds like what I would do personally. I hope that Light and Kino have both been reincarnated into shinigami and find each other.
Great job on the story, its better than you might think.

I liked Kino, she was an interesting OC. It was sad when her father, aunty and cousin were 'killed' and also when she was 'killed' as well. Kamen is one nasty shinigami. :)

All up, it was an enjoyable story. :D
