So what ever happened to Pike?

One of the problems with deciding if what your reading or viewing makes sense is deciding what the likely impact of the plot would be on those involved. Here, over the course of a few paragraphs, Giles tells Faith that she's the slayer. I'd accept she'd believe him if he showed her a real vampire. You have him mention her birthmark and the slayers dreams. Its enough for her but is the experience enough for the reader to believe. I'd almost expect her to say lucky guess on the dreams or even accuse him listenting as she cried out during those dreams. Still, Faith, after some reluctance, accepts what Giles tells her. You just have to chalk any lingering doubts up to her frame of mind.

Nice work and I liked the confrontation between Faith and Lothos and Giles's last for writing and I enjoyed reading it.

Poor Giles, having to know that one day, Faith will die a bad death. I like the introduction of Lothos as well. Very good chapter.

I think i'm gonna like Giles as watcher to Faith. I'm kinda wonderin if buffy is gonna be called in this?

Aww, this was such a good start! I love the crisp and stuffy unease that has Giles in its tight grip. The prickly and bristling defiance of Faith is almost heartbreaking to read, but it feels so real. That you also wrote of Wesley and Robin told me that you have something planned for them in the future. I have no complaints, dude. A very enthusiastic thumbs up, though I feel I must re-read Faith The Series over in its entirety. Until next time,
