I love this version of how the boys met. I'm very interested in seeing what happens in Vegas and how Rusty does on his first job!

I would also like to say that you have captured Danny and Rusty. I can see that you have worked hard to make sure they are not like they are in the film but that they will develop into how they are in the film, (did that make sense?)

Umm... even if you aren't satisfied entirely, I quite liked it ). I thought this was a rather intriguing take on the whole Danny/Rusty meeting thing, and I think the developing interaction between the two is both spot-on and believable.

I like how Rustys relationship with Danny has grown, also how Rusty has everyone on his side.

Brenda bristled, irrationally angry.

“Neither will you.”

“I know,” Danny sounded almost sad. “But at least he’s not afraid of me.”- That must have hurt both of them. Great ending having Rusty listening in.

This is so cute! Poor Rusty- and it makes sense that he can draw- someone has to draw up actual diagrams for when they plan stuff. I, for one, had no problem picturing them saying this. Well, I had trouble with Danny's parents, but then, no one knows who they are so that's understandable. Please continue and keep it up.

Hmm, this is ... interesting. Rusty doesn't quite strike the right cord with me but, as you said, they're young; they're going to change. I look forward to seeing where this goes.
