From beginning to end, this was such a lovely story! I love how you incorporated flashbacks into the current hunt (I'm always a sucker for prequels and backstory!). Your characters were spot on, and your premise absolutely believable. This was such a fun read and, as a teacher myself, it made me extremely happy to read! What a clever story and a very beautiful Paint of the potential of Dean caracter.
In lot of episodes we saw how smart he was( i think how he discovered War was Behind the mess in the third episode in season 5) . You re just hit the point with this very well writting story. I enjoy this So much. Thank You for that. You re make Dean more loveable for me and it is hard, bécasse il love hum So much even if the owners sometimes make him a dumbass ( not reading So much, dont Having a clue about some references and being a porn obsess man tssss)

I don’t like how you think that being smart makes your answers right. My brother has a high IQ but because he never studied he failed many classes. I don’t agree that Dean is purposefully filling in the wrong answers. Studying is success.

I wish it had ended with john telling dean to take the job.

I don't know why Mary gets so offended at the plausible suggestion that her son may have ADD, or why she immediately denies it. It's a possibility that should have been at least considered.

So heartbreaking to think about the potential that Dean had and what his life could have been if he'd have been given the opportunity! Wonderful piece of writing and one that I find myself frequently coming back to!

This was a very lovely story! I enjoyed reading this, especially the way you integrated the past and the present. I didn't mind the hunt Dean did or the plot holes I noticed as this story's main focus was Dean's issues with school. That really showed throughout this whole story, and you gave me a proper ending. Great job writing this!
