Wonderful piece you wrote - where Dean has to deal with grouchy Sam... no, not grouchy, but woebegone Sam who wouldn't even put his foot down on the ground Dean had to lay down on to get the shoe out. Hitting his head - quit trying to kill yourself sitting still! all the way thru Thanks Dean. While they indulged in pretending that whatever Sam needed, Dean could deliver.

I don't know why, but the scene where Sam's all like "I lost my shoe" and pouting is one of the moments I remember the clearest from the whole show. It's been a while since I watched it, but I still laugh when I think about it. It was just too adorable for words, and because of that I just can't help loving this oneshot. Always wanted to see what happened right after that. Way to go! ;)
