You've done an amazing job of saying a great deal about Dumbledore and Grindelwald's relationship in such a short space. The whole final paragraph was really well-constructed...although I have a feeling there should be a "not" in the "something he could ever truly claim to be"? Also, I think you meant "some how" to be one word.

But really, wow...this is why they're my OTP. They have a connection that can beat pretty much any other ship in the Potterverse when it comes to complexity, and I'm thrilled you feel the same way too. I'm adding you to our Grindelwald/Dumbledore C2, so welcome!
