I like this. I don't see Rinoa as a ditz...Selphie more so but Rinoa I think is comes across as innocent. And for the most part she retains that innocence through out the game till she gets the sorceress powers.

Honestly this is never hit me as a true ditz just a little uh... well a less energetic/excitable version of selphie. so this is really good in my point of view.

Perfect! Well, I think you accomplished your objective because she definitely didn't seem ditzy to me here, but then again I never thought that of her. Good job, I really liked this a lot. You added something extra to this scene and it was fresh. I'm proud.

I like this a lot! I do like a less ditzy Rinoa, authough I never thought she was ditzy from the get-go. I mean, Squall would never fall for a ditz, would he?

Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Did I say I loved it? *grin* Btw, that scene was the one that led me to get the game in the first place (thanks to a friend who insisted I just HAD to watch several early parts of the game.)

that was wonderful. i think the way you presented rinoa here is the "real" rinoa - not ditzy, just...forthcoming. i loved that FMV and i also loved the way you wrote this. now, if i ever play ff8 again, i'll be thinking about this fic of yours and be smiling to myself; at least, by then, i'll know what squall and rinoa are *most probably* thinking about. keep writing! )

Anyway, the dance scene is one of my faves - everything about it is so perfect. You have added a new dimension to it, and next time I watch it, your fic will be running through my head, too!

An excellently captured moment of the game. Observing the original material carefully and providing sensible insight into why it unfolded that way made your story at once faithful to FFVIII and interesting to read as a creative piece. I look forward to enjoying more works from you.

Wow! I think you did great. Rinoa did indeed seem in character, but you made her more real and less stereotypical (ditzy). I liked how you kind of gave her side of things when it came to Squall, how he looked, his impassivity (is that even a word?), etc. You really captured this scene and made it come alive!

Good story...Like how you made Riona's character...I never have thought of her as ditzy, but i hardly remember anything of the game...But good work and keep it up.
