I was rereading this story, and I saw you used the word 'b-line.' Did you intentionally use that, or did you know that there is actually 'beeline.' Beeline is used to describe the movement of bees going from flower to flower. They take the shortest route to each flower, or flower patch, to conserve their energy. When applying beeline to humans it would mean the same, possibly attempting to crawl over people-or running them down-rather than go around them, jumping gaps rather than taking the stairs down and back up. I love the idea of Sesshomaru trampling/knocking over a few innocent bar patrons in his desperation to get Kagome out of there as fast as possible.
