I loved this au, it's adorable and likely to have a happier ending than the Antiphony relationship as long as Jasmine never finds out. They would be such cute super villains together!

This chapter was so sweet, especially knowing what happens to Rainye. I'm not ashamed to say I cried a little.

I had kinda forgotten all about Helinth, LOBS, and Sharath until I read this. What a trip down memory lane, and how awesome it was to be right back in the middle of it! Idk, maybe it's because i've spent so much time with Antiphony ;) or maybe it's b/c no matter how long you're gone, you just never miss a beat, but no matter how long it's been or how far removed it seems, just one or two paragraphs and I'm suddenly remembering all these characters and scenes that I love. The Antiphony universe still has that sort of magical hold on me, which is something I don't admit for very many stories, not even in the fandom(s) I was more active in.

I absolutely love that this was told from Destane's POV. I hadn't picked up on it before, and certainly wouldn't have had it been in Moze's POV, but Mozenrath's actions in Antiphony really mirror what Destane does here. Granted, Destane's challenge here is still unspoken, but the idea of thrusting someone out of their comfort zone and watching them endure so much all so they can grow and change into the tool they're needed to be, is eerily similar. Both Jas & Moze end up radically transformed in body and soul, and now must survive and conquer a world that is far darker than what they're used to. It really makes their connection that much more profound and believable. HOF may never get both feet fully off the ground for whatever reason, but the character study has still been wonderfully insightful, & it would be nice to see everything come full circle. Even if not, this was a nice Christmas gift to any of us still around. :)

You really depict the bond between Mozenrath and Xerxes, I love their cameraderie, or rather Xerxes cameraderie and banter and Moze's grudging acceptance (although you know he secretly enjoys it).

.A-ma-zing. I love your drabbles I have been exploring each one and getting delightfully lost in your universe. i really like how you set up this scenario, its like an alternate universe of the alternate universe, and oh the possibilities, lol Mozenrath is baaaad.

Jasmine so easily accepted the Scourge of the Desert personality in the show. When Abis Mal told her that she was the Scourge of the Desert Jasmine wasn’t even the lease appalled by the statement or try to deny it, she was pleased to hear it, makes you believe she has a bit of a dark side inside her that wanted to come out. After coming to the end of this chapter I found myself wanting more. It’s an awe-inspiring thought to wonder what would happen between Jasmine and Mozenrath from this point farther. Have you ever considered transforming “Dark” into a much longer story? If you do let me know, because this great shot can become something much more. FYI I like the tie in with Jasmine clothes color matching Mozenrath, nice catch.

I got the episodes mixed up. Forget Me Lots was where she was where she didn't remember anyone and evil warrior princess Jasmine. Ugh! Sorry for spamming your review section.

Amazing to read that chapter from his side. His arrogance and getting easily annoyed was in character and hot. lol. I laughed when he felt insulted by Jasmine's 'let us go' comment. He's so the definition of arrogance. He also happened to belittle her intelligence in the process for even making such a statement and on top annoyed by her acting as if she's the one with the power and he's the weak one. Hahaha!

I also liked the part where Jasmine told him stop with his attempt to kill Saleen and seeing the fearful look in the princess's eyes made him finally stop. He had to have her trust him and that spoke volumes.

This was one of the many favourite chapters for me in the Antiphony story and it was a treat to read it from Mozenrath's pov.

I also thought that it was cool that he could sense the afrodisiac in Jasmine's system from the beginning and his disgust at the realization behind it. It must've made him think back at Reniye's situation with Destane. Mozenrath have to be very powerful to do that. And can bascially sense her emotions when she realized that she was drugged by the sultan of Desriel. Her facial expression and shakened body language made it quite obvious as well, too. But what really got to me was his very wise advice to her at the end which is so true, even in real-life.

"Never allow another to have power over you."

Loved that. Genius.

Such a beautifully dark chapter filled with so much emotion. To get drawn into their world, their feelings. Jasmine trying her best to not show how she feels but Mozenrath can clearly see right through her like he always does. The way he tests her through and always wins. The way she tries to push away but always suck right back. I love how you write these two, it's truly beautiful. Like an artist who paints beautiful portraits, but through words. Aw, I really enjoyed this chapter and Mozenrath's youth. I actually like his birth name Morathai more because it sounds so good and pure, which was how his heart, mind and soul were at the time. His insecurities and his mother's gentle reassurance that he can do fulfill his destined powers if he keeps practicing and never giving up. It was refreshing to see this side of the now dark man.

I really like this friendship between the two. They are like opposites yet share so many similarities besides being slaves to psycho Destane. I so thought that Xerxes would lose a limb but magically get a new one once Mozenrath turns abck to his normal self but glad it didn't get that far. I honestly think that they made a great duo/team. Xerxus successfully got Mozenrath to slightyly open up in ways that would seem impossible for other to accomplish. Great chapter.
