StarryNight chapter 1 . 7/7/2015 Just read this. Absolutely beautiful. Thanks for writing it. |
Daisy1966 chapter 1 . 7/18/2013 From the beginning I was drawn into this world. It was a really beautiful description of landscape. I'm sure where you live is such a beautiful place, rich in nature. I feel as if I could see you taking a walk, enjoying the magnificent views of the docks and harbor of a Cornish town. The image, features and history of this elderly woman just overlapped Stella and I almost regarded her as Stella. But as I went on reading , I recognized the man this woman was talking to was Mac. I love this woman's thoughtful words which I assume came from her having seen much of the world. I'm just happy that Mac followed her instruction( or it may be said 'advice', though ). This is another amazing one shot and I enjoyed every inch of this! :D Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful story! :) |
Advazzz chapter 1 . 1/6/2013 You write so beautiful... I could not stop for a second...thank you Lily! |
Ditte3 chapter 1 . 10/15/2012 I'm happy I read it again. I love it. You have a talent of writing. |
BrokePerception chapter 1 . 11/14/2010 Wow. I certainly loved the summary to begin with. It really drew me in. You began very well with a good deal of well-thought description. The dialogue as well was well thought of. It was rather witty, even. I can get why you have gotten so many reviews on this (jealous!). It is the best I have read from you thus far. There's a right balance within everything here. Good job. |
swfc008 chapter 1 . 10/25/2010 Wow! That was beautifully written! I pretty much Awwwwed out loud at the end. I actually thought that the old woman was Stella. It was a really nice surprise. :) Your descriptive writing was just beautiful and set the tone. :) |
LestrangelyGaby chapter 1 . 6/25/2010 I love it! It's beautifully written. It kinda has a touch of "old english" in the way they talk. I'm glad Mac took the older woman's adivce. :) |
Viktorija chapter 1 . 8/3/2009 it was great,really sweet:) |
SMacked Hard chapter 1 . 5/29/2009 So wait what happened, I'm confused. I'm sorry for my stupidity, but I loved it though! |
DNAisUnique chapter 1 . 5/29/2009 Ooh, you had me going there! I thought the woman was Stella, but no! I like good surprises. Love the ending, and I'm glad Mac took the woman's advice. Wonderful work (not that I expected any less). Alas, I must be off to bed now, but I'm looking forward to reading the rest of your fics. Thanks for sharing your talent. It's nice to 'get away' from the real word for a moment, and it's even nicer since I've found NY and your fics. Dana |
napafun chapter 1 . 4/15/2009 wow really touchy one XD |

Hazmatt chapter 1 . 12/3/2008 Amazing story! Incredibly sweet and very moving! I really enjoyed it! |
Mynerva24 chapter 1 . 7/23/2008 WOW! You made me think that the woman is Stella, till the last minute! I believe the other reviews said almost the same... You wrote this story elegantly, choosing decade instead of years, wisdom of the elderly woman wrapped up in the enthusiasm of the youth, and exquisite description of the surroundings. Great job! (_) |
