Wow. Just wow.

I can't understand why this story hasn't got 10000s more reviews. I've read nearly every official star wars story and this would easily slip into the top 3. its written perfectly, building suspense, great battle scenes and wonderfully deep and accurate character portrails, seeming everyone from the main characters Luke, Leia, Han are believably written and portray as real as the official characters personality in the published works. Mara jade however IMO is written even better than them, you give her such believability as a truly fucked up ex tool of the emperor, not rushing Luke an her together and building the trust between them so well. the way they danced around each other made me want to shout just kiss her already, but the way their relationship has built is far better than anything else I've read. the only crime is the low count of reviews because this is a gem of a story.

The Republic still wants to have control over the last Jedi, unfortunately for them, that Jedi grew to maturity as part of a criminal military organization resisting government oversight and power. Plus, he has lots of friends in low places. Getting some Noghri would be a good idea, if only to have more people with special skills on board to fill in the gaps. And to kill a bunch of people of course.

Like how you have Lumiya's bad memory to give foreshadowing that there is an another Sith apprentice out there, yet we cannot know more because SHE does not know more.

Oooh, I was suspicious about that major, but the extent to which he was involved in it was a surprise. Also Pallaeon's actions were unexpected, yet fitting with his patriotism and decisiveness
