I read this in one go 'cause I've been tryin gmy hand at writing Electra and I enjoy seeing how other interpret her. Unfortunately, good Electra stories are few and far between. Fortunately, this sotry most definitely ranks among those excellent few. I love this! it took me a while to get used to the lispy kitten-talk, but once I got over that it was all smooth sailing. I enjoy your OC's immensely, espcially since all of them seem well fleshed-out and three demensional, not horrible soppy, Mary Sues. Electra's conflict is nice and unforced - innoscent and confused as opposed to her being a wild rebel-child, which is an interpretation that I quite like. She seems like a young person/cat who's just trying to find her way and doesn't know why her choise is so wrong, which makes her much more sympathetic. Alternately, you;ve also done a good job not villainising the tribe, just showing that it's a huge, ugly misunderstanding brought on by years of conflict. In short, it's lovely and I hope you keep going with it.

Our car battery died 200 miles from home today and we had to call a service to come and jump start us... so I had a good deal of time to write today. _ Chapter 4 coming in a matter of days! I'm a bit of a slow typer... sorry all. :)

First of all, the beginning with the kittens and their adorable lisps was delightful. And now this chapter is just getting too awesome. Did I mention I love Electra? She's my second favorite queen, after Rumpleteazer.

I've never seen the kittens portrayed quite like this before, as more of scruffy urchins than polished and well-mannered kits. I can't wait to see what happens, so update soon or the Weru will get you.
