*sighs* I just love Bobby. :) I especially enjoyed his time of reflection on Sam and Dean while in the hospital, and I sure wish Bobby would've had a camera with him.

This story had a little bit of everything, and I must give you props for being able to write such a realistic action story. It was AWESOME reading.

I had thought about leaving a reveiw for every chapter, but with the way nearly each chapter ended, there was no way I could not push the next button straight away, which is completely your fault. ;) Anyway, I completely loved it and can hardly wait to read more from you, which I'll be doing very soon. :)

Loved Bobby waking up and finding the boys asleep, with Dean's head on Sam's shoulder, and that his first thought was that he wished he had a camera. LOL And the drool bit was perfect! ROTFL

Also really liked getting a glimpse into Bobby's thoughts on the boys and their bond. I always like Bobby, and you write him so well. Loved Dean being proud of Sam's figuring out the connection between the robberies and the killings. So sweet.

I really liked how Bobby praised them both for a job well done (something I wish John had done a little more) and their embarassed responses were so cute. :) Loved the boys' assertions that neither of them would want to do the job alone, that they need each other. So sweet.

And great banter with Bobby at the end, him telling Sam to whack Dean for him. LOL

I'm adding this one to my faves list! And thus ends Phase Two. ;)

Okay, I have to say, I was totally cracking up that the brothers were arguing about whether or not Sam should've come back to help out, all while the werewolf is standing right there, trying to kill them both. LOL

Loved how they ended up killing the werewolf though, and the whole "remember that hunt..." bit. :)

Loved the way you ended this chapter: “So how much mileage do you think we can get out of the fact we solved the mystery and saved his ass?” “That depends on how much you want to piss him off.” “Good point. Maybe best not to make too big a deal of it.” LOL Too funny!

Okay, is it bad that once we knew Dean was okay, my first thought was, "I'm glad he wasn't wearing his leather jacket when that thing clawed his back."? *ducks* I know, I know, but skin can heal, and leather? Not so much. LOL

And oh my gosh-I was just thinking about this a while back, why not have a shape-shifter who could morph into either human or animal? Great minds!

Oh crap! How could you stop it there? Dean!

Other things:

"Bobby was the only one left these days who knew his and Sam’s history, who’d seen them grow up, who they could trust completely. Besides each other he was all the family they really had and the idea that he might be gone was making Dean feel as sick as Sam had earlier." Aww... *sniff*

I have to say, the female security guard? LOVED her! EXCELLENT addition to the story. ;)

Okay, this: “Dean, someone’s stealing the Impala.” and Dean's reaction were funny. It was mean of Sam. But funny. Poor Dean! Even better was his response: “Relax, I wouldn’t waste the caffeine. You might want to consider sleeping with one eye open though.” LOL

This SO sounded like Dean: "Of course it is. You know just once I’d like to take a job that doesn’t involve trees or rivers."

And then: “I’ll make a note. Although in fairness it looks like just the river this time. The forest is on the other side.” “Oh well, that makes it so much better. We’ve had such good experiences with water.” That's right, you DO keep trying to drown Dean in your stories, don't you? Poor guy. ;)

This made me chuckle: "He really did look forward to the day Dean grew out of the whole nickname thing." Ah, Sammy, there's that blind optimism again. *shakes head* LOL

Wow, that lasts line was fairly ominous. I'm a little worried now.

Okay, Phase Two continues. :) I'm finally getting around to reading and reviewing this one.

I loved this: “Thanks, I’ll pass. It was boring enough first time. You know if you made this stuff sound less geeky and more interesting, I might actually hear it instead of lapsing into a coma halfway through.” “Whatever. Just don’t come crying to me when you get yourself killed because you missed a vital piece of information.” ROTFL That was SO quintessentially the boys! Great capture of their voices.

Oh no, not Bobby! He'd better be alright. *glares a little* I'll go see... :)

Great job! I enjoyed this a lot. A nice bit of case work, some worried boys, Bobby, Hurt!Dean... a winning combination of ingredients! You write so it's effortless to read. Wonderful!

Great story, an orginal creature too.

I especially liked Bobby's musings at the first part of this chapter, very nicely written.

Aack! I missed the update! Geesh one of these days I'm actually gonna remember to use that story alert thingy. Usually by the time I think of it, the story is on it's last chapter and then it's kinda a why bother thing.

Anyway great ending. I'm so glad Bobby made it out no worse for wear and I loved the boys camped out in his room with Dean propped up against Sam... and can I be Dean right there? lol

Oh and I loved when they were sitting at the table pretending they weren't concerned for Bobby and the kicking under the table had me grinning..the little brats.

Great mystery too btw and one of these days I'm gonna actually guess one of these...lol. yea right.

* I'm so glad you don't mind when I get a little longwinded( I think that might be an oxymoron) cos I really have no idea how to not be that way..lol Oh and please feel free to be that way as well. I totally know what you mean about the boys and keeping them in character too. They do such awesome work. There aren't too many shows out there where I love the actors as much as I love the characters they play.

"Bobby felt slightly exasperated, wishing they could both recognise their strengths instead of always being so hard on themselves. Sometimes he still had the urge to smack John upside the head, however hard he’d tried to do the right thing when raising them."

I love father-figure Bobby! He's just pure gold. And a wonderful ending to the story, although the last line has made me melancholy. Sam and Dean must be together! Always! I hope Kripke lets us have that. Well, if not, I guess we all just keep writing it for ourselves.

Very satisfying ending. Everyone's more or less healthy and the guys have had a good rest. You know Dean can't stay in one place too long. I really enjoyed this story. Well done.
