Reviews for Prayer
IceBlade28 chapter 1 . 5/29/2008
Yes, you're right- this poem was cliched. But it was the warm and sweet kind of cliche that makes you go 'aw' at the end, so it's all good. Rhyming skills weren't as bad as you made out, though you landed yourself in a few awkward pickles at times. Rearranging a few words or deleting some of the smaller words would help with rhythm and scansion. Overall, not too bad a job. 6.5 out of 10.
TheTwilightRurouni chapter 1 . 5/28/2008
I don't know much about poetry, but I liked. Another bonus of having me review is I can't tell what's cliched. The whole thing was very solemn, and it made me think about it, about what war is like. Nice job, you do nice work.

Twilight Rurouni
An Ordinary Fan chapter 1 . 5/27/2008
This piece is quite touching, if I do say so myself. I could really feel the sadness that comes when people such as these have to take another man's, woman's, or child's life. And, as for the actual writing, it flowed well and had good structure. Excellent job here, mate.
Vanechka chapter 1 . 5/27/2008
Hmm...

Well, I can believe Lucius thinks like this, and Isadora too...

But how about others?

And if they hate death and killing, why did they even join the army in the first place?

I mean, killing is bad, but if it does good to the world, it may be justified...okay, no. it's not justified, whatever your cause.

So why are we still playing Fire Emblem?

ahh. why am i so philosophical today?
Aquatic-Idealist chapter 1 . 5/27/2008
Their gentle natures shine true here. A very nice work indeed! There are no grammatical or spelling errors, as far as I can tell. Nice job.
