I know it's been years since you wrote this, but I can't tell you how much I love this. There are so few fics with a focus on Jonathan, especially ones with him as the love interest. He's my absolute favorite character from the Mummy franchise, and you write him so well. And yes, I definitely have a huge crush on him. Anyway this fic is so sweet and romantic, plus it has a great plot. I just wanted you to know that this story has brought me a lot of joy!

Ughhh. I can't even right now. This is about the third or fourth time I've read this story and I still get all giggly and giddy when Jonathan and Libby interact in the little fluffy ways they do. This story, my dear, is just brilliant and if you were to ever write a sequel to it, I would probably review each and every chapter with a long winded analysis on my take on those two because god damn (pardon my French!) Jon/Libby are quite a couple! However, I've always loved how you leave the ending and what happens after open to the imagination, so kudos to you!

I loved your story! Your plot twists were done really well and your characters were developed beautifully. Besides, Jonathan could use some more love in his life. I loved this story! It's hard to find stories with Jonathon as the main character, Ardeth Bay is delicious to look at, where it was a believable story. I also loved the fact that this story wasn't taken over by romance, and while it might have only taken them two weeks to fall in love, it didn't seem like it. Stories where the main characters immediately are far too common now. This is definitely one of the better Mummy fics I've read. Favorite

Wow this would've made a much better movie than how Tomb of the Dragon Emperor turned out :D...with that said, its nice to see a well written story especially one that's not about the main sex object of the saga which everyone wants to write bout being with... its quite funny that even if i try to filter out the ardeth/oc stories... u can still find Ardeth/oc stories because ppl use Jonathon C. as their tag... "sigh"

Basically if i had anything to nitpick on... i technically don't feel like nitpickin cause i feel like u captured the essence of the movies perfectly, it had the right amount of jokes, action, and it wasn't a super rushed romance like most are... and u didn't really seem to change the characters at all, i feel like u were able to have them act like they would normally act (well of course except for Jonathon who had to come out of his drunken shell but somehow it still felt like him)

All in all it was a really great story which i'm surprised it took 4 years for me to find, i wouldn't be surprised if i find myself readin it again just to relive the adventure... Keep up the writing and if u ever start on that sequel i'll be more than happy to read that despite it bein Ardeth-centric :P

I don't know if you'll ever see this review, but I really wanted to say what I thought about the story, just in case you ever did. I thought that it was really incredible. Ive read a lot of fan fiction stories, but this was definitely by far the best. A lot of stories that I've read rushed into the romance of the story, but I think that you built up to it just right. I came across this two days ago, but since I began reading it, I was obsessed with it. I don't know if fan fiction is published and sold, but this should be in a bookstore, so more people can read it. You're a very talented writer! :)

This was really adorably cute, and I loved it. c: Ever since I re-watched the Mummy and it's sequel (just not the disaster that was Tomb of the Dragon Emperor), I've been like "JOHN HANNAAAAAAAH!" and my family have been like "Shut up, he's like fifty." And I walk of depressed. Sorry for being a bit of a bimbo. He just has that effect on me. . Anywho, there are literally no words that come from my mouth to describe how utterly cool and funny and romantic this whole fic was. I honestly think it's the best Mummy fic I've ever found. The only thing that can desribe this story is the moment Libby and John meet to the near-heart-breaking moments where we honestly thought she was dead,you really put effort into making this a great ,I love how you give the perspective of the villians as well,and the gives a movie-like feel to me,this story is like the First Season of a great TV Show,with the last 3 chapters part of a Two-Parter (Episode spliting at the Third section of chapter 28 "The Lie of Imortality").

Just red the story for the second time ad still love it like it was the first. Best Mummy story there is. I hope that oe day you will decide to write the sequal. But if not. I am pretty sure that readig this a third time someday will still be enjoyable.
