I know this is a really old story, but I just needed to state that aside from the flashbacks everything with the judge was basically straight from "Friends" when Ross and Rachel get married in Vegas and then try to get an annulment. I think you should include some sort of authors note about the fact that the show inspired you or that you took the information from the show otherwise it just seems like you copied it without any reference. That's basically considered a form of plagiarism.

I loved Sam's character, but at a few points he seemed more like ralph. I like emily's as well. Derek and Casey very clasic, and yet had their own twist to themselves. thank you very much for the effort put forth. you've done an excellent job. :)

This story was romantically fantastic! I love the writing style and where you placed flashbacks when you did and how you switched to focus on certain people.

I love the growing dynamic between Derek and Casey and I like how you had them handle those obstacles.

When you switch from Casey to Sam & Gina, it was a little confusing at first (you had Casey 'talking' to herself then you instantly when to Gina asking Sam a question). Maybe a divider or an indicator could be useful there.
