About pairings, as long as you keep Harry's #1 stalker out of it I almost don't care. Ginny is more of a stalker as she was raised on Harry Potter stories. So unless you change her drastically, please don't. The same is almost true of Pansy Parkinson. She's portrayed as a loud mouth brainless Pureblood junior Death Eater. So without changing that much more drastically, I can't see Harry wanting anything to do with her. Now Millicent Bulstrode, she's been portrayed as being on every side. It just depends on the author and story. It's also ok with me if you want to give him more then one. Just as long as you have one betray all to either Dumblewhore or the Dork Lard. As far as I'm concerned Dumbles-the Bumbles is no better the Voldie. He deliberately with malice of forethought place Harry in an abusive home. He also deliberately ignored the Potter's Wills. HE made the decision on his own to place Harry with magic hating relative and NOT check up on his welfare since leaving him there. The excuse that he didn't know doesn't hold water as he WAS TOLD by McGonagall that " They worst sort of muggles. " Yet he still left Harry there. Blood wards might protect him from Death Eaters wanting avenge their masters' death but they DO NOT protect him from his relatives. And after 4th yr. they DO NOT stop Voldie at all! Thus Dumb-as-a-Door deliberately continued to put Harry in danger. It truly prove what Hermione once said about Wizards. They totally lack common sense. Or put anther way, they have no logic.

It's such a shame that you didn't finish this. I'm only 2 chapters in and already find it very good reading. I'd've really like to've seen where you took this idea as it's much better then the rewrite of this story. Yeah, I can see Vernon hating Harry for just living and taking all his anger and frustration out on him. What I can't understand id why Harry's magic would never protect him from his uncle. Supposedly if Harry's in danger his magic will protect him. Yet time after time in story after story Vernon beats Harry with a belt, breaks his arms legs and ribs but his magic does do anything till he's thrown into that cupboard. Similar thing with Duduley. He and his gang beat Harry to a bloody pulp and his magic doesn't react to protect him. So either fan fiction authors are ignoring this or his magic has been restricted. Sorry to dump on you but I'm really just asking. It seems to be a common error or an extremely common plot hole.

dumbles gives him the stone what the hell. i could understand harry pulling some slight of hand and hiding the stone whilst saying it was destroyed or even better dumbles not showing up but harry being given the stone is just ridiculous its a stone that grants immortality that voldemort himself is trying to steal and instead of protecting or hiding it dumbles gives it to a 11 year old kid who regardless of who it is shouldnt be trusted to use it wisely or protect it, not to mentions its the flammels stone not dumbles so he can give it away anyway

I noticed a tiny mistake after Harry enters his trunk. You put Astiras portus as the name for Stargate in Ancient/Alteran. However, it's proper name is "Astria Porta". This is due to the difference between Latin, which is the one you've given it, and Alteran, which phonetically sounds like a seamless blend of Ancient Greek and Ancient Latin. They sound the same, but each has different meanings for similar words.
