Glad you still had an injury from one fic to the next - more realistic. Hate that Sam needs surgery, but at this point that's the only thing that will help the knee. OUCH! SOOO very glad of that air pocket, that Dean didn't die. :) And glad of the big brother protectiveness of Sam after he came to.

And ugh I tore my MCL a couple years back and it was the worst thing. So I could feel Sam's pain here. Nice job with that.

Buried under mud with you're face stuffed in someone else's coffin? So not a good way to go! Also "...they can observe me walking down the front hall to the doors." Loved it, loved it to teeny weeny little pieces :D
Thought the rest of the story was excellent too, really felt for poor old Sam.

Yet another beautiful story from you, totally in character and saw it playing out in my head as I read it. Typical Winchester luck a simple salt and burn not going completely text book as the sodden earth falls down on Dean, burying him in the grave. Really got Sam's desperation as he frantically dug his brother out. And you gave us the bonus of two injured Winchesters, Dean not evening breathing for a few minutes and Sam screwing up his knee rescuing Dean and getting him to a hospital! Just so Dean, waking up and being totally concerned with Sam's injuries and insisting Sam has the surgery, ignoring the fact he is the one in a hospital bed!

A simple salt and burn is never so simple for our favorite Winchesters.

Sam listens to Dean to take it easy, but then when it is Dean's life on the line all bets are off.

Dean knows he is in a hospital bed, he knows he is hooked up to a dozen machines, but all he SEES is his Sammy in a wheelchair. I actually laughed at Dean. He is amusing when he gets into protective mode. Sam is four inches taller, has about twenty pounds on him, but Dean is all big brother and sometimes that is just what Sam needs. He needs Dean to put his foot down and tell Sam he is getting the surgery, no questions asked.

Loved this. Loved Sam mucking up his knee worse (pardon the pun, lol!) saving Dean. Man, I was cold and wet just reading this. I got a chill when the spirit threw Sam and Dean was right on the case - love protective, pissed big bro. And then when Dean got buried alive? AWK! I felt Sam's panic, fear and sense of helplessness and he frantically tried to dig his brother out, ignoring his own pain in a desperate attempt to save Dean. And I will say, although Dean was the one buried, my heart ached for Sam. He had lost so much and now he was on the verge of losing Dean again. And I loved Dean immediately being worried when he saw Sam in wheelchair. Loved that!
