Wow... Chapter 9 was a rather INTENSE psychedelic nightmare! Chapter 10 was an insight into the WHY of it. A bit. All I can say is those two poor kids. Meaning Ataru and Ranma.

Just finished reading Chapters 7, 8 and 9. As Kasumi would say, Oh my! ::chuckles:: Once again I'm struck by how I do NOT have to suspend belief while reading your story. Yes, there's magic and yes, there's seemingly impractical happenings—whether in martial arts or psychology or even physiology.

I'm a bit sad for Ataru. I, too, never got to truly know my own grandmother so my heart aches in response.

I know there are those you there who, to paraphrase "South Park" will holler "OMG! You locked Ranma!" Oh well. I've read a few locked fanfic and enjoyed them. You've done some nice work here. Yeah, it's only my humble opinion, but it's MY humble opinion. They're entitled to theirs and I'm entitled to mine. To them I say, "Nyah!"

I'm sure one of these years I'll catch up on what you've written. ::chuckles::

I noticed the similarities as well as the differences between this story and "Phoenix From The Ashes." I also like how you've handled Ranma's single-mindedness as well as his obvious cluelessness when it comes to certain subjects. I can picture Genma doing just that to control his son. After all, it was glaringly apparent, to me, when I read the manga.

Oooo! Fanfic where Nabiki was not only a martial artist but was also better than "Princess" Akane! Where? Are they on FF dot net? Titles and/or search parameters, please! ::laughs::

I love finding older stories I can "sink into" and all. Thanks so much for sharing.

Wow. Reading one of your older stories and I have to say that I like it. Quite the insight into a lot of things I thought about but never before saw in print. You said my take on a few of them. Granted, all I read of Ranma, aside from fanfic that is, is the manga.

To bad about the Deadly Nightshade's story "The Truth #1: Ranma the Girl" disappearing from the net. I think I would have liked to read it. ::chuckles::

Hello. I'm currently reading your story and while I usually don't enjoy lock fics I have decided to give it the benefit of the doubt due to the unusual crossover.

I must say though that the likelihood of my continuing has gone way, way up due to the inclusion of Chris De Burgh's 'In a Country Churchyard" at the very beginning of this chapter. After all, any CDB fan can't be all bad, neh? :)!

Unfortunately I myself am a very poor writer so an insightful review that might help you to improve your storytelling skills exceeds my ability to produce.

this is probably the best ranma fic i've ever read not 2 mention one of my favorite ranma becomes a girl fic, however it seems you don't really describe what ranma wears through all but 1 maybe 2 parts of the fic the 1st being when she was actually shopping for clothes & the other i can't quite remember. I'm finding myself curious if ranma will accept her feline side like ataru has his instead of just blatantly denying it since ranma's very life is all about ADAPTATION & so far she hasn't tried at all.

I'm finding myself a little curious as 2 why there's no courting of ranma by ataru at all unlike in the original where he at least brought her some earrings yet it seems in this version ranma & ataru have an almost platonic relationship that seems to just jump levels 4 no reason from liking each other, to boyfriend/girlfriend then suddenly to engaged? seems a little bland & spontaneous 2 me.

I'm hoping this fic hasn't gone completely dead as it's a great fic & should really be finished as it deserves it 4 all the effort that's gone into it.

Would love to know if things are okay with you these days, mediaminer doesn't really show any more udates than FF does, so not quite sure where to find the latest and greatest, or even if you're still writing these days. Also I used to follow the blog but that really hasn't been updated since you moved back home to Canada again. As much as we like your fics, some of us also like to think we've grown to know the man behind those works over the years by reading them... Just letting us know that you're okay would be a big relief!
