Just finished reading the whole story and I have to say this is the greatest Scooby Doo/Death Note crossover ever! Granted, it's the only one I have ever found, but it's not like someone else is going to come and write a better one anytime soon. All characters feel exactly like themselves on both parts, and I love how you make everyone be important to the story (like how Near, Matt and Mello were a last minute addition yet they were essential in solving the case, or how Scooby is getting more limelight in this last chapters and may be essential in stopping Light). Please continue this story if you can!

Damn that cliffhanger, awesome, wonder is Scooby is going to say something about Lights screams in the bathroom...

It's confusing, really, it mixed well scoby Doo comedy with DN seriousness so the brain is failing XD.
Also, did scoby and shaggy discovered traps?

For some reason now I have flashbacks of a parody song, the deadly odd parents one , but now I wonder .. how do ya move cars between country s? In boat I believe ... Or planes have delivery?.

Good to see that finally people see that a talking dog is not just another casual thing XD, and that shaggy needs all that for to keep his Olympic speed while scaping XD

God damn it, Light! You don't get to be evil again after everything that's happened! (Assuming he is evil again, that is.) I always felt like a better punishment for Light was to permanently lose his memories and the Death Note and go back to being a (slightly above) average citizen instead of imprisonment or death because not only would he be right back where he started and prove that he's no god, it also wouldn't immortalize him. (But again this is assuming (the likely case) that he's Kira once more.)

Okay no but the Light/Daphne comparison was like great to the point of absurdity by which I mean its absurd but great and I actually think that they'd get along well.

This chapter was great! I loved Matt and Mello's appearance (especially Light's reaction to it lol), and I also loved L and Matsuda's interaction at the beginning of the chapter. I actually really enjoy the way you've made them interact here. It's clear that Matsuda is still an optimistic rookie, and he's still incredibly deferential, but L's inner monologue does show that he has a good deal of respect for that kind of attitude (and by extension Matsuda and the gang). You've made it pretty implicitly clear that he see's potential in Matsuda and I really really love that! Too many times in re-write fic's no matter what new spin authors are putting on the Kira investigation itself they're still relegating the Task Force members to the same positions that they occupy in the original narrative. Which is fine, I guess, but it's bland. I like that you've taken time to explore it a bit more, and I especially like that the main reason it works so well is that you've given L that particular fondness for reckless optimism. I don't know why but it just really strikes me as incredibly true to character, even though he doesn't display such fondness in the cannon.

(also hey can i give a shoutout to nerdy tinkerer!fred bc like i loved that a few chapters ago but totally forgot to mention it. additionally i also love the subtle changes youve made to aizawa's interactions with l, bc again i like that ur messing around with the cannon interpretations of these characters, and it doesnt seem as tho aizawa is as unreasonably angry as he is in the original but justifiably frustrated bc he thinks his own insights dont mean v much when the in fact do - which youve shown expertly.)

Sorry for the long review, but this chapter was excellent and really really good and while I doubt I've picked up on any important future plot points lol it did a fantastic job at hammering home the subtle character interactions that I've really come to enjoy from this fic. :)

I don't know how you did it, but you managed to work in the classic Scooby chase scene brilliantly!

Okay but I love how you're keeping the elements of Scooby-Doo and not making it seem out of place, like the fat that the gang does look like they're from the 60s and Scooby can talk. Also, can I run away with your interpretation of Shaggy bc I adore it.
