fanofthisfiction chapter 20 . 11/26/2018 A very happy ending for such a complicated and sticky situation. You made it happen my dear and I can't imagine the relief and the happiness at having completed this. :) I was curious as to how you would address Yori's family, but in some ways, I'm glad you stuck with the reactions of the Aido family and the happily ever after sequence. You addressed the prejudice with understanding and the difficult life ahead with hope and happiness. I had wondered if Hanabusa and Yori's baby would have to live with prejudice in the world where he will be even less than a regular vampire but seeing that he is a happy soul in Hold Me, is assuring. Goodness, two VK stories down without having seen the anime. That's pretty amazing, don't you think? I actually watched episode 1 just after reading this and I can already see, it's much more complex than I had originally thought. Great going on successfully completing 2 stories and thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 19 . 11/26/2018 Can I be a little nervous here that Zero was the first to satiate Hanabusa's blood lust? I had thought there was something sensuous about a vampire drinking blood from another. I'll give my curious wayward thoughts a rest though and just be happy Hanabusa was found, safe and in relatively good shape for all he had been through. I am glad this is ending on a happy note for the reunion despite all that's gone on. Now literally it's all about the healing and coming together. Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 18 . 11/26/2018 I never thought such a shocking pregnancy reveal could go so smoothly. Lucky Yori and now off to the chase! Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 17 . 11/26/2018 It was interesting that you intertwined addressing prejudice into this story. The pressures of doing the right thing, sticking within class and species, yet doing the opposite, all in the name of love. What a wonderful main character yous selected in Hanabusa. The hormonal teen really did dig himself deep into trouble this time, especially since Yori's pregnancy has been confirmed. Talk about a complicated set of circumstances. Now that the reality of things has been established, one can only wonder how this can work out. Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 16 . 11/24/2018 I wasn't expecting caution to be thrown to the wind twice and without protection. Although it's implied Yori's body is changing due to a pregnancy, I wonder if this seals the possibility if it wasn't really sealed before. Now that the extra surprise of Aido's sister is revealed, oh my. What a rollercoaster we are in for! Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 15 . 11/23/2018 The longing to be near one another and finally just spend some precious time together was depicted well. The secret still looms out there unsaid but it was good to establish a comfortable stance again before delving into things and showing us that it's more than only physical attraction that keeps Hanabusa with Yori. How sweet he would be content with just holding her hand. Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 14 . 11/19/2018 The uh oh moment was done well after going over how life was proceeding after that night. I can't imagine what will go through Yori's head from now. What a cliffhanger. Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 13 . 11/19/2018 I like what you did here. The aftermath of doubt and confusion over decisions made was good to put out there. There were no regrets but glimpses of the bigger picture of what just happened without judgement (especially from someone who could judge) spoke volumes. Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 12 . 11/19/2018 The warning at the front of this was most appreciated. And I'm sure you know the first time for these two would be too soon for me anytime, but I know this chapter was important to the plot. You have a wonderful way of making these young characters come to life and that's probably why I feel this way. That, and the fact that Yori and Hanabusa are not even of legal age, but for the purposes of the story, I know why you went in this direction. I must say, depicting the intense worry and desire to make the most of their limited time together, as if the world might end before anything more can come for the two of them, reminded me of the final farewell of soldiers going off to war and all the last minute marriages (and babies made) just before departure. Caution being thrown to the wind, certainly makes the event memorable but I'm sure we'll see the after effects are to equally life changing. It took a lot to write to this point. And you certainly made quite an impression with "Don't forget me." |
fanofthisfiction chapter 11 . 11/15/2018 Oh goodness, the innocent good-bye sort of went from a flirty tease to right out the window! That was one big step just taken. We'll have to see if impulsive Hanabusa goes along. Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 10 . 11/15/2018 It looks like the sadness in missing his girlfriend is already seeping in and he hasn't even left for the holidays. Poor Aido. One has to wonder what he will learn about himself when Yori's not around. Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 9 . 11/14/2018 Keeping the promise intact despite everything is such a wonderful thing. It definitely gives Hanabusa some extra points in my book. Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 8 . 11/13/2018 Yes. Yes! Crazy enough, I think sometimes getting through the little arguments are what makes couples have a stronger bond. If you can make it through that first disagreement, it's a sign you have the ability to work together to get along. You, dear author, definitely set up a loaded situation but seeing that Aido could calm himself for the sake of Yori solidified he is really trying. We also got to get a glimpse of some of his morals growing up and what he means to say to Yori but doesn't always express. We can also see Yori's forgiving nature and the fact that she's worried but not irreversibly frightened by what he can become when angered. You do have me curious when vampires share blood what exactly does that mean? Is that any hint as to Kaname's feelings for Zero if he's sharing his blood with him in "Hold Me?" Great addition to the overall romance. I think this heated discussion even brings them closer together and solidifies Hanabusa's growing attachment and devotion to Yori. Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 7 . 11/12/2018 It was a nice addition to put in this aspect of the difficulties of having the kind of relationship they desire. It's one thing to 'put on a show' for someone when you're courting, but to make it through times that aren't so good, that's the mark of being able to handle a real relationship with them. It's nice to know they're starting to have a friendship with a pair that may understand them more than any other would too. Thanks for sharing! |
fanofthisfiction chapter 6 . 11/9/2018 Daring a vampire for a kiss certainly was a brave and somewhat gutsy thing to do. It was fun to see how Hanabusa reacted and what he's learning about his own true self and his burgeoning feelings for Yori. Thanks for sharing! |
