I love how you swung the tone of that story at the very end! (I don't look at the genre when I read the story so I often don't know which way it's going to go).

It was so cold and sad in the beginning and I can't exactly say the point I figured out it was a paintball...something about the description of the color "blossoming" on the shirt...that was absolutely brilliant! A classic plot twist with perfect timing. Job well done and kudos to you!
