Steve sure has a lot of 'issues' mainly what he is lacking is Godly morals. Up till the 60s even if you weren't a Christian you still generally had Godly morals and without it your no better then a hot head.

The Christian Crusaders before you bring them up as your (fail point) are not Godly at all actually and care more about the 'church' and will be one of those that bang on the gates of heaven which God will ask "Who are you? You cast out demons in my name but you don't honor me."

So instead of fixing our own country (and it's defenses) we blow up others hoping to find the invisible terrorists.

Unless you have severe brain damage or are an egomaniac people would want to play games to get AWAY from the war not think it 24/7. This is DEFINITELY fiction so unless your going to try to pass this off in any way as reality I'll refrain from saying more.

You have a pretty damn awesome story going on here. I know it might be abandoned at this point, but I do hope you keep it going. It has the feel of some really good military science fiction I've read in the past, but still captures the essence of Zero at the same time.
