Dear Lord... these Anzu-bashers are just... *incoherent scream of rage*

Dear fangirls...

If you believe Anzu is such a witch, then why are *you* doing the same things you accuse *her* of doing? Calling her a *slut* when you send Yugi *your own underwear* through the mail? Accuse her of being a whining harpy when you create *hate pages* debating the best way for Anzu to die? Raging about her getting in the way of a relationship... while *callously stealing her and Yugi's letters*?

And to top it all off, you insult Yugi's very *character* while you continue on your vindictive "crusades," even though he's supposed to be the object of your affections? *lip curls in disgust* If you *really*, *truly* want to get Yugi's attention, there are *better* ways of doing it than... than *this*.

Are you even paying attention to how Yugi feels, throughout all of this? No? Then there's a good reason that he doesn't want to be with you at all, and it has *nothing* to do with a vindictive Anzu. If being a fangirl means callously stepping on the characters you love, and ripping *anyone* who could show them romantic interest *apart*, then count me out! I'd rather *respect* my favorite characters, even if it means I might not "get to be with them."

Before, I was pretty neutral on the whole 'to-hate-or-not-to-hate' Tea/Anzu dilemma, but now I officially like her. In fact, I recently read a good but Anzu-bashing fic and I was like "Why are you being so mean to her?" (I had forgotten that most fangirls loathe Anzu for a second.) Anyway, this is a really great fic, like all your others. Thanks for writing!

Oh my GOD that story is amazing. It's brilliant how you've managed to put into words a worry that has plagued me for a while, I am assuming that this story is a comment on all of the Anzu bashers out there but if is isn't it should be. I wish that on my favourites list there was a recommended reading list! So many people need to see this point of view. I love your one-shots in general and I appologise that I haven't been reviewing all of them... I am a bit of a slacker like that.

You are a brilliant writer! I love all of your stories that I have read so far and I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Your grasp of narrative structure is superb. Please don't ever give up writing you have a gift.

That being said, I love this. It captures Anzu's struggle with the evil we all know to be extremely nutty fans. ...Not that there's not an insane fangirl/boy hidden somewhere in the heart of everybody. Let's hope like heck that they never escape.

I love this because (sadly) it's so true, and not just about fictional characters, but real celebs too. but, going back to the fic, the one thing I like most is that you always manage to bring in that exactly right amount of humor and seriousness as well as your own individual element of style to wrap it all up nicely. all the characters are perfectly written and true to themselves, and best of all, it's fun to read! keep it up!

I like how this fic touches one of the things that the anime doesn't. How would fangirls cope with having a girl by their favorite idol? With slander of course! Fangirls can be very ugly things...

THOSE EVIL WITCHES! How sick and twisted can you get? Poor Anzu. Freakin' fangirls. I mean, seriously! Just cause you like someone and are jealous doesn't mean you act like a freakin' sicko! Sheesh. Some girls need to freakin' control themselves.

Good story. Honestly, I'm getting tired of Anzu bashing stories. She's not my fav character, but it's usually ridiculously immature what they do with her. Oh...poor Joey; I'll be his fangirl, but I refuse to be sending panties though...lol
