The story seems a bit rushed. You may want to try varying your sentence structure a bit. Try highlighting the first word in every sentence and only allowing a couple to begin with the same word or digraph per paragraph. It gets a bit tedious when most of the sentences start with "I". Also, you don't need to narrate every single action and describe every detail. We don't need a whole paragraph about how Felicity wakes up, gets up, and puts up her each piece of bedding. Nor do we need a repetition of how old the wallpaper is, or the knowledge of how long it took to paint and wash the room-I don't know how YOU paint, but it took me a day or two to paint my room, and that was with help.
I apologize if this sounds like a flame-I'm not trying to insult you or to tear you down. I am just trying to offer some constructive criticism-you have an interesting idea and intriguing character-the development and portrayal of those could just use a little work. Whether you heed my advice or not is up to you, I noticed that you've already marked this story as complete, but for future reference and in case you ever decide to revise this story-here are some pointers.

Lovely story. Felt rushed in the last few chapters, but it fits with me because my mind likes to rush near the end of stories.

I was really enjoying this story. But I have to say, I think you REALLLLLLLY rushed it, especially towards the end. And I honest was really disappointed with the ending. Just a brief explanation of everyone's life and how she felt. And cutting ties with her family isn't something I was to happy about. I know this review sounded super negative, but I did enjoy the story. Just my opinions. Good job.
