This was an amazing piece of fic. It's a wonderful insight into Cloud and Sephiroth and quite certainly one of the best pieces of fanfic I've seen in this fandom. I felt "he recognized one of those pieces of Zack that he still carried like shrapnel" was one of the most poignant bit and really struck me as a very accurate description. Thank you so much for writing this.

Love this. I've so been neglecting Cloud/Sephiroth that I nearly forgot I love those two, that it was their interaction that dragged me into this fandom. This really brought it back. So much history in so short an acquaintance, really, so many unresolved feelings and issues. I don't normally get so absorbed in a story that's not yaoi-y, but I didn't care this time. Excellent!
