| Musings chapter 1 . 3/14 This, of course, is the weaker ending. The best thing about it, from a writer’s perspective, is, that you haven‘t included it in your original story. The bittersweetness, the significance of death and the knowledge that we can‘t change everything, even if we give it our best, is an important lesson to learn while growing up. Life writes the most wonderful, most terrible stories and when our work reflects this multifacetedness it becomes art. |

Most authors would just leave us readers hanging around in suspense, making us imagine the situation if Percy told the whole family (or maybe just one member in particular) the truth. Good thing you didn't do that to us. And I actually forgot that bet he made with... I think it was Penelope, but yeah, whatever, in the Quidditch Match. It suited his time-travel situation. How do you DO it?! I can hardly piece some of the events together, especially the years! I'm not really the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to Math. I LOVE the ending! Typical Fred, I bet he's going to bet his and George's whole savings and earnings in that World Cup. It's thrilling and at the same time, hilarious! :D |
