This was so sweet. I don't think that future was a result of the time scepter though, because it sent ALL of them away to different worlds, but this future only Donatello was missing and no one seemed to believe the incident with the Ultimate Drako was to blame, Mikey even said they all thought he was dead and then bitterly accused Donatello of abandoning them. I think it is very likely that it was an alternate Dimension, just like the dimension Mikey was sent to where they all had superpowers, and I think in that world Donatello was probably ambushed while on a junkyard scavenge or supply run. I also think that Bishop would have been to blame and since at the time they had been sent away by the time sceptor, the Turtles had yet to meet Agent Bishop, none of them would think he was the culprit.

I think Raph is wrong about the time septer thing. The time septer sent them all away and they all came back at the same "time" because Splinter called them home. But his future brothers didn't seem to associate the events with Ultimate Drako and Don's disappearance at all. They seemed to think he was dead, most likely taken... When Mikey saw Don for the first time he was rather bitter for a turtle who just found his long lost older brother alive and uninjured... He even outright accused Donatello of abandoning them! I think it was an alternate universe, (that is where the time septer sent everyone else after all, different universes, Usagi's universe is still in it's feudal japan era while the racing universe raph was sent to seems to be in a far distant future, but they are not apart of the turtles current timeline nor will they be, but that doesn't mean that there aren't similarities and that the future Don saw couldn't happen with slight variations) and their Donatello had indeed been taken by someone or something. Also, that he was most likely killed because Donatello would do anything and everything his big brain could think of to either escape and get back to his family or somehow contact them so they could rescue him. The only way he could be gone for 30 years is if he was taken and killed. I'm guessing Splinter knows because either A.) super ninja powers allows him to sense his sons dreams or somehow read his mind through deep meditation, or more likely B.) when he was wrestling away the time septer from ultimate draco and calling out to his sons, and dragging them out of the alternate universes they were in, his mind was able to catch a glimpse of Donatello and an old april in the ruins of a destroyed foot stronghold and the bloody corpses of his other 3 sons as his most gentle son only shook his head in despair and failure despite having destroyed a dangerous enemy (remember when Leo was trying but failing to call his bros home and he cried out in terror when he saw his failed attempt to call raph home resulted in the hot head losing control of the motorcycle and falling off a mountain?) Out of the 4 of them, I think what happened to Donatello was the most cruel and most evil... Mikey got to visit a world straight out of one of his comic books, and his brothers were real superheros! It was like living out a fantasy! Despite wanting to get home and the danger, Raph also got sent to a place he would enjoy had the circumstances of how he got there been different. Motorcycles, competition, and some extra danger to made it more exciting! If only there had been a couple of thugs for him to beat up it would be Raph's ideal world! Leo got the best one! He loves japanese culture, and not only did he get sent to a world that is based of old time japan, where the ways of bushido and honor are practically law, but he is not a freak. He is free to walk around in daylight and nothing is odd about it because walking, talking turtles are no big deal there, though ninjas aren't too popular (though if he had a choice, you know Leo would have wanted to be a samurai) and best of all, he got to hang out with his good friend Usagi! Leo would love to live in Usagi's world if he could. Don got sent to hell. He didn't even need to bother blaming himself for it because his baby brother already did that for him (that had to sting, being accused by Michelangelo like that) To make it worse, his other brothers all acheived victory! They overcame all obstacles and dangers thrown at them, defeated the villian, and saved the day with a smile and said their fond fairwells to whatever ally they had made as they were pulled away. Donnie may have destroyed the shredder but it was no victory. His plan resulted in his 3 brothers being ruthlessly slaughtered before his eyes. Everyone else gained a boost of self confidence at having acheived so much on their own without their brothers to rely on... but it seems Donatello only failed... Just as the Donatello of that world failed. I really think the writers of that show hated Donatello as he seemed to have to go through the worst of everything.

Awww I like the idea of Raph being the one to help Donnie get over the trauma. Raph is such a good guy despite what he tries to make himself to be like. Lol. :)

Aww, so sweet, I kinda wish it was longer just because it's so cute for Raph to act like such a softy. Great work and thanks for sharing.

I'm glad i made a foray into this fandom section, i enjoyed this story, they are both very in character, the drama is good and i think it's interesting to read about how Don would possibly feel/react when he got home after that episode.

Yay for softie-Raph! If you can dodge the second sai, you're in the clear! In fact, I think it went that way *points*, so it's all good! I adore your Don/Raph interactions. I absolutely ADORE them. You write them both so well, it's just incredible. I love the softie approach to Raph, because you absolutely nail it every time. He's caring and gentle, but without losing that whole Raph toughness, which is hard to find. I mean, usually he ends up being a total A-hole or WAY too cheesy, but you don't present that problem at all. And Donnie is just so CUTE! I think this is a great representation of how he would have reacted after the whole time-scepter issue. His thoughts and paranoia are absolutely perfect. It's wonderful. I could read this over and over again!
