I have read this before and now came back to it after a review on Livejournal, and yeah, it seems like I forgot to tell you just how much I liked it.

The way of storytelling reminds me deliciously of "Memento", and at first, it makes you feel slightly claustrophobic because just like them, you want to say, no, please don't let this be all there was, not just a drunk mistake. But the more the scenes progress (or should that be regress in this case?) one realizes that this started out as something too important, to laden with emotions to end up being just a drunken one night stand.

So, in the end, I'm saying thank you for this. It worked more than well for me, and I loved it, possibly even more the second time around. It's rare to find an author who tackles their more messed-up sides.

Beautiful! Wonderful writing and I liked your technique of working backwards- though I was a little worried for a minute we wouldn't get the resolution. I think you handled the "drunken hookup" scenario very well, it was perfectly them- passionate, a little awkward, and, in typical Tiva fashion, avoidant of the actual issue at hand. I really, really liked this. Also- such a true point about hangovers getting worse as you age...I look back upon my 22 year-old self with such fondness...if only I could drink like that again! ;)

I stumbled upon this via my research into beta readers and their profiles and I must say I enjoyed it immensely. The flipping of scenes backwords works very well here. The characters are true for S5 timeframe. Nicely done.

I loved the writing style! Very Memento! It kinda threw me off for a second and made it impossible not to keep reading til the end and then, you gave it a great final touch. Well done! In my favorites now :D
