Love that Literati is falling hard again for each other, especially with Jess doing things that were not characteristic of him, with his writing her notes and giving her something other than books. Loooove the changes these two are making to keep their relationship alive. And you write it so well that I'm addicted to this fic. I just can't stop reading...lol

Lol! at Richard throwing Emily's past words back to her. Rory being very protective of Jess from his so-called mom is something I wished we got to see in canon. I just hope Luke sides with Rory and Jess more than his sister who will no doubt mention what happened to Luke.

I can't wait for Jess to wear a tux again, maybe at their wedding this time. ;) I looooooove Richard and that he gets along with Jess. He would've in canon too, having much in common. So I appreciate your writing moments like this. As for Emily, she really got to think deeply about Jess turning his life around more so that she can hopefully accept him.

I love how it's not forced, his opening up to her about his past. True, he resisted talking about it with her at first, but I'm glad that he doesn't react the same way as before like yell at her or push her away. They're both trying hard to make their relationship last. Rory is more patient, understanding, and empathetic with him unlike in the past when he refused to give her an explanation for things like his black eye from the swan.

I appreciate that you write Jess in such a way that doesn't make him a completely different person but as someone who is maturing but who still contends with scars of his past, if I'm making any sense. Lol.

Literati are so adorable together. Lorelai having that kind of radar is just canon. Lol! Love that you emphasize how close Rory and Lorelai are like in the show

Rory doesn't want to take it slow anymore? Lol. Love this chapter, especially Rory and Jess' speeches. This is one of my favorite quotes: "We've waited with our breaths hitched for them to realize that they have to be together and we've banged our heads against invisible walls when they couldn't see what was right in front of them. But finally this day is here. This is just one step in their journey and I hope that many years from now, when they look back at it, they realize that this was the day they were least in love."
