This was an enjoyable read. I like how you kept everything perfectly poker-faced until the end. I won't say it was a twist ending but you preserved the "suspense" really well.

Also, Joey's thought processes are just funny to analyze. He's a bit more earnest here than I expected him to be, but it works well for him since he's such an honest, down-to-earth character.

I think I would have liked to have seen more of your characterization of Ryou, more of him, more about him, more from him. I know this isn't easy considering the obviously biased point-of-view, but Ryou is such a versatile character that I would be curious to see where you'd have gone with him.

Still, I did like your characterizations of both of them, including the backstories you hinted at. Bakura's is a little odd apparently, but it all seems plausible in a real way.

As well as all the little things you snuck into the story. At least I hope you did, otherwise I've just been noticing things that weren't there. Ah.

Oh well. This was lovely. I don't read a lot of Puffshipping so it's nice to find some worthwhile fic.
