Definitely one of the more emotionally complex AC fics out there. The abrupt and quick intimacy at the beginning startled me; I didn't know how a story would progress from the achievement of this relationship already. But I was pleasantly surprised to find out that indeed, sex does not necessarily mean love, or rather is not a magical tool that fixes relationships. Altair's obsessive feelings for Adah both irked and frightened me since I perceived him as a jailor, selfishly oppressing her into accepting what he wanted and ignoring what she needed. I completely understood why she felt like running away from Altair even though she loved him; it was unhealthy. I was afraid that Adah would take her life after she found out about her pregnancy since it was just another form of a shackle (Altairs thoughts on this were particularly disturbing). I'm glad it turned out all right though. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story.

Oh. I just loved the imagery you used in this sentence: "The gentle rise and fall of her shoulders, her dark silken skin, and long ebony locks were strewn over the white cloth of his bedding like an overturned flask of the thickest cocoa milk."

This is really good! Wow, your skills at really showing your character's feelings come across so well, especially in this chapter. I felt I could relate to Adah so much throughout this scene. I was mentally begging for her not to sleep with him, and I could tell she didn't really want to either. Your writing is really good, and I really like the way you're showing your character's personalities, good job!

This story is beautifully written, and by far one of the best I've read. You stayed true to Altairs character and your OC was incredible!

I found it hard to see any mistakes with it. If anyone's thinking whether to read it or not, I would highly recommend it as any Assassins Creed lover will thoroughly enjoy this amazing story

This was a good story, really long chapters! Interesting idea to use her and very clever. I found her to be very whiny and at times, childlike. But she grew, so all was well in the end. A very intimate story, thank you for the read!

Very well done on this first chapter. I loved the aroara you gave Altair, somewhat untrustworthy and unpredicable, yet she knows that he would never hurt her. Very conflicting, and it creates a great twist to this love story. Can't wait to read on.
