The last line's kind of ironic, isn't it? I like that, how Reg said they'd assure Voldemort's triumph while in reality both died to bring him down.

That last line just cinched it for me. I love that- since they are the two Death Eaters who do the most to being Voldemort down, and since they both die in the bargain. And this also does a good job of showing what Snape's mentality may have been, to be able to love Lily and hate impure blood. This just made me smile a lot. :)
