I know it’s a long time after you’ve written this and also a long time after the show but I’ve recently rewatched all of Ashes again and I loved this. It was exactly like watching a season of the show but with all the extra good bits thrown in with Alex and Gene we never got. thanks for writing all those years ago

Loving this story so far but I'm sad to see Alex's affair falls flat on it's face whilst Gene gets his rocks off! Why?

Just re-read this for what is probably the third time since I discovered fanfic. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed it. The twists and turns of their relationship and the overall plot are so well realised and the horrible bit where she loses her memory choaks me up every time. Love how they get back together and how she falls for him again. I think the quality of the writing - already good at the start - steps up as we go along and particularly over those chapters and although the smut is wonderful throughout what's really great is the consistency you have as you develop your version of Gene and the two versions of Alex as shown in their thought processes. Thank you for a wonderful readx

I have just got through your monster of a story after about 3 weeks! And i can safely say its one of my favourite galex fics ever! Great job, i know its very late but this was absolutely brilliant! Keep it up :)

I want to declare my undying love for you! Seriously, no joke! I've been avoiding fics that were not one shots as I had not time to get invested in either and ongoing fic or a fic which had multiple multiple chapters. However with some time on my hands and with the ringing endorsments of the pit I searched this out.

I am soooo glad I did, I just spent a whole day in your little ANY universe and I wish I didn't ever have to stop being there! I loved every second of this, not to mention being in awe at your ability to write SO MUCH believable, hot amazing smut! I loved the plot elements but I'm in awe of how you managed such panty melting hotness in almost every bleeding chapter!

You truly have created a fascinating world for Gene and Alex which totally sucked me in and made me neglect lots of other things until I had finished reading. Thank you so much for a fantastic story - one which I will no doubt read again and again.

I love how Gene and Ray saved Alex, and how Gene tried to act all tough but then told the nurses they were engaged x] Uber-cute.

And I'm loving the story, it's lovely to have a good old Galex to read :D
