i really liked this! nanjiroh are one of my favorite characters in the series, so i am a bit disapointed in him here. but this is a fanfic and everyone get to do what they want to the charakters in their story, so i am not angry at you ore the story, an i still like it, and he is still one of my favorites in the original!

This entire story had me obsessed - I love the writing style itself, the plot was compelling, and I found very few grammar mistakes (which is important to me, as it takes away from the reading experience). I am not usually a big fan of stories that twist aspect of the original story line or disregard it altogether, and while there were certain aspects that were changed to make this plot flow well, the story mostly kept the established history of the characters intact. On top of that, the actions, thoughts and behaviors of the characters did not feel out of character or overly forced. The storyline was clearly thought through in advance, as the first chapter lines up with the last, and the fluidity of the story itself made me extremely happy. I hope you continue to write multi-chapter Prince of Tennis fanfictions, as each one that you have written so far made me want to read more, and I can only assume that any stories you post in the future will leave me with that same desire, though, unfortunately, you have not posted any stories in a long while. I hope to see you come back!

I legitimately cried while reading this. It was wonderfully written. The way you used the characters personalities to push the story forward in such a realistically, heartbreaking, frustrating way was absolutely perfect. Thank you for such a great story. A perfect balance of realism and extraordinary circumstances! Usually Hurt/comfort fics take it too far, but this was particularly engaging! I really like the resolution (although I would have liked more - maybe an adoption?).
