| H A M B O . 1 7 chapter 29 . 7/23/2019 Rereading this 3 times now, and I really have the urge to point out that: Neji's 'love' isn't love at all. Its an unhealthy obsession of wanting to claim someone as their own. Maybe in violent and desperate times, he could hurt her too, under the notion of "she's mine," or "nobody can love you but me," or maybe "why can't you love me?" I remember the later chapters that he snitched Hinata's predicament with a demonobviously wanting to have her back and claim her again, not an ounce of consideration for her happiness. But really, I guess it also comes with the fact that Itachi is a demon and he has experienced firsthand of Itachi's tortures. Tunnel vision, I guess. In a way, I can't really blame him. |
