I'm always up for some Marco fic and this was going great until you kinda broke me heart. Wasn't expecting that. Thank you for it though. Hope you write more Reedus characters.

Awesome doesn't even begin to describe this I saw deuces wild a few months ago and omg marco was just, I loved that rat bastard, and I really like that you didn't deter too far that. bittersweet but all too fitting if i do say so myself

So I know, I'm late on this-years late in fact, but your story was fantastic! There are barely any deuces wild/marco stories on here, so I was thrilled to find yours.

You humanized Marco really well without totally changing his character.

I actually got really emotional towards the end, it was so sad. I'd like to think Marco would have been at Vera's funeral had he been alive.

Have you ever considered writing a full length marco vendetti story? I wish you would!

Even the bad guys have to be humanized. And you definitely scored with this one. So well done. I particularly liked the way Marco knew how miserable his existence was and knew Vera was the one shred of goodness in it, and in their moments together, he savored every moment of being with her. Good, bad, or whatever, not many people can really derive meaning and joy from the times that matter most. Again, fantastic. Cheers, Bel

Aw man aw man! That made me cry! Marco was a downright scary bastard in the movie, but I've always been the type to fall for the bad boys (though that whole Betsy scene really did irk me)

I'm gonna be really girly now and say that I hope Vera and Marco are together in purgatory... Him bitching about the flowers and her just smiling and laughing at him gently
