Beautiful. I think this is my favourite GALEX, it's one of the most moving I have read. If only their relationship could develop like this in Series 2.

Absolutely lovely - liked the way Gene's first reaction is to bolt! Another great touch: he doesn't know how to feel about being needed as a person rather than a DCI etc etc - very, very neat. You also capture the sensual nature of Alex very well. Great stuff.

absolutely brilliant, by far and away one of the most well written fics I've read. Loved the line 'He is her knight in tarnished, dented armour.'. Really liked the present tense, remained consistent throughout, characterisation perfect. Fantastic, can't wait for your next effort!
