This story is well written, but cold and gross.

I came here using the information in the comments from a plagiarized posting of this story. I figured the original would probably be a better read than the plagiarized version. I've had to re-read a few parts to follow what is going on, but it sounds intriguing.

Wait, what? He got captured and tied up, but now he's somehow free?

And he murdered some asshole in self-defense, but told them that he saw them get murdered?

Is he lying to the Order? I'm hella confused.

This doesn't even make sense. You know, being confusing for the sake of being confusing is dumb.

Wow! This story has completely blown me away! Your writing still is completely unique from anything I've read before. While slightly confusing at first, once you realize that he isn't actually telling the order what really happened, you understand just how clever it all is. The mix between past and present, fact and falsity is phenomenal and incredibly intriguing. I hope that someday you come back to this story, to see it unfinished is a shame.

I'm reading all the other reviews, and it's quite amusing to see the number of people that really just don't understand what's going on :)
Personally, I think that the blend between the real story and Harry's story (the biggest issue people seem to have) is what makes this story special. I don't think I've read a story this intriguing on this website, ever. You can obviously tell who really read the story and who just skimmed through and got confused due to their ignorance, for one.
That being said, the one thing that irked me most is the bridge from Harry's escapade to his involvement with Fleur (chapters 2-4,5, I think). I'm not sure if you meant it to be purposely vague so that you could fill in the blanks in later chapters, but there were obviously quite a few details missing.
Seeing as this story hasn't been updated in over five years, I doubt you'll take into account my review. Honestly, I think you could've ended it with chapter 9 if you included more detail in chapters 2 through 5. You stopped writing when Harry finished his story, the plot curve was there, and the last chapter itself had a nice cliffhanger. I actually thought the story was over when I finished it.
All in all, this was a great read. Whether you update it or not, it deserves more praise that it's getting. Thanks!
