Omg the actual setup was all a freaking prank! I would've never guessed it! This really was like Christie's novel.. a real crime in a fake setup. I'm absolutely in love with this. I know its been a long time but I wish you'd do a sequel at least. Anyways, this was amazing and I'm definitely going to read more of your work.

... Now, I don't know whether to congratulate myself since Shinichi really was part of the plan. It was definitely unexpected, however, to have Sonoko matchmaking those two. That they had all agreed! Suddenly, how everyone seemed to understand that they were an item seems to add up. ._. Good work! That was a fantastic twist, I should say! And you're really a wonderful mystery writer.

Hmmm. I'm surprised that Ran didn't just reconcile with Shinichi when he told her everything... And I'm surprised now that I think of it that Shinichi called Ran "Ran-san" before. But well, her being plagued by all those strange thoughts and bursting in on him in a defenceless manner seems to have really cleared up their issues...

... I had assumed that Shinichi would be the actual target, not Ran, since it seemed more likely from the onset of the letters that a private detective would be called in than Ran, and after all Ran could not object when matters worsened. I was totally misled by the rhyme that seemed to me an indication that Shinichi was the piece of the puzzle the perpetrator was waiting for. That being said, I think the deductions are really good. Not only in the style of Conan, but really like Poirot. amazing, I have to say.

I suppose I was one of the silly people who thought that Shinichi's request for her to roam the corridors would somehow ensure that she could easily get help if she was attacked. I like how you let the words circle and circle round her head though... It sort of puts people into a trance. I'm not sure if that was coherent enough to be understood.

It was really good of you to break it down for us, who was who, where they were and what they said or done. but the quality of your work deserves so many more reviews than this, I think, wholeheartedly. (No offence meant?)

I have to hand it to you for creating all that suspense. It really is a good work of mystery. I was nearly scared that Shinichi wouldn't return, but well. Onward with reading your story!

I'm almost tempted to do a happy dance since Shinichi clearly harbours some kind of positive feeling towards Ran. nice work with the tension in the chapter too- it created quite a fright when I remembered that chaos was what worsened many a situation in Agatha Christie's novels...

I like how you begin with a quote for each chapter, really I do. Whether it is as a clue for the readers to ponder about, mislead them or to sum up the chapter, I have to say that you choose apt quotes.

The horror I had when I saw that rhyme from "And Then There Were None"! ._. Dear heavens, this fic clearly will be more than I ever banked on! ._. That being said, to take on this sort of thriller mystery with skill- I take my hat off to you.

Hmmm I find a concern with setting this fic as after the manga, for it implies that you'll possibly need to suggest what happened to Conan too? But I'm getting ahead of myself. After all, your fic is complete and I have yet to catch up to chapter 14. love how it's going though!

Awesome... Your style of writing is awesome! Totally comparable to Agatha Christie's! there's also that infuriating sense that you've told us as readers sufficient to give space for legitimate guesses, except that I'm too stupid to conceive of any proper possibility. ._.

I liked the reference to Sherlock Holmes when Ran was on the floor looking for clues. *thumbs up* I love how the plot is thickening!
