I’m obsessed with this series .. I read the first and second book both within two days and I don’t know if u still write but could u pls update

I hardly know where to begin.
I've never really paid much attention to the James/Lily pairing before because for lack of better words it was somewhat of a certainty, not much to add to their story.
Was I wrong?
I happily admit to it!
Anyway I've read some good Jily stories before stumbling onto yours (Philologus & Optivus), when in search for good reading material.
Someone had deemed it one of the best Jily stories that they had read on Quora.
It had caught my eye and albeit reluctantly so I decided to go for it.
At first it was strange because of the scene where everything took place, the foreign names of some of the students and even trivial details such as James' blue eyes (imagine my confusion when I found out he was wearing contacts all this time and that that was simply a personal "touch" of yours, that I slowly became accustomed to and even appreciated in a way, for the fact that you made the bold choice to make such a small change that really added to the character in a small but significant way).
I have to say that the fact that I can't quite place the scene of the events that unfold within both of your stories (but have deduced that it must be some sort of alternative, somewhat modern world where the aristocracy and royalty thrive)
I have come to, nonetheless, absolutely love everything about it.
I especially love the way you've bended the characters to the needs of the story without them losing the essence of who they are supposed to resemble in the end.
I think you've quite succeeded with James, Lily and even Sirius.
Remus was a bit perplexing to me more so in Optivus because most of his actual backstory was taken away and he found himself with a bunch of siblings and a quite cruel (to say the least) woman as a mother but I did enjoy finding more about his character in spite of it.
Peter was equally strange in the beginning but such a refreshing and welcome change in all of this in the end, I can't quite stress this enough.
I just love the slow paced but steady pace at which his significance and backstory unfolds through the course of the stories and it's been a pleasure seeing him grown.
When it comes to James I think he has been taking over the reigns of Optivus and has been carrying the story along in a way.
He has developed so much through both Philologus & Optivus.
I wouldn't say that I thought much of him when we were first introduced to him but oh my, I've come to love this character so much for his personality, actions and resilience.
I can't quite express how much I loved being witness to his inner conflicts.
I just love this James Potter you have so meticulously and expertly weaved here.
Sirius was quite the surprise too.
I was wondering when he would make his appearance, when suddenly I'm reading that his comforting a distressed Lily.
I liked your take on his family life although it probably hasn't changed significantly.
His abilities that played such a big role in the stories, his gentlemanly nature.
And of I course I loved the time we where given with him and Selena.
I truly love the way their relationship develops somewhat through all the events.
As for Lady Selena, I too liked her character immensely even tho she was an unexpected surprise.
The events which brought her to isolation,her relationship with her brother and Lily.
Her character which although doesn't much resemble Lily's for the most part, is so refreshing.
Seeing a female being delicate and fragile, not as bold yet capable of overcoming her fears and traumas.
Lily too, I've come to really adore as character.
Fierce, steady, brave, emotional and unreasonable as she can be.
I think that's the magic of her character, that I've been able to accompany her on this journey and see both the joyful, light moments and the more the distress filled ones, that make her in my opinion so believable.
Along of course with all the other characters.
I find it so awe inspiring the way you have your characters act and feel and with not too many words at that.
It's like every single word you have written has a place there and is crucial to the story.
Honeslty I don't really know how I can possibly put all my thoughts in here about your wonderful work but I will try my best.
I'm in complete awe of every single detail from the character and world building to the actual events of the story and how everything unfolds so fluidly and for a reason.
Every single decision leads to something.
And every single seemingly unimportant detail holds imense significanse to the continuation of the story.
Every single character apart from the characters we already know is so carefully and masterfully written and developed.
Nothing is really insignificant and everything blends in so beautifully.
Turning back to certain characters I can't help to be amazed at the fact that Dumbledore is an Optivus.
I didn't see that coming, nor him giving the others up to the Russians but honeslty it ties together so well with everything.
I also couldn't help but notice some of the similarities between Moody and Dumbledore not just because of their Optivi status but also because of the way the choose to act in their way of accomplishing their goals.
Tho I also have to say that they're quite different to too in some ways.
Moody seems harsher and Dumbledore maybe not so much but he will honeslty always be a riddle to me.
Despite his more likable nature he's quite "funny" in a way.
I would also like to say that the most exciting and enjoyable part for me in Philologus, at least was the students destressed as they were navigating the underground passages and as for Optivus it has to be James' inner conflicts in general.
I think I will stop here because If I continue I will be writing for a long time and I will be making much less sense.
I would like to finish by saying that I absolutely love your writing and I adore these works of yours so much now that I've had the luck to stumble upon them.
You're such a talented writer!
Your work truly gave me a better disposition and made the days I spent reading it a little bit better.
I also know that Optivus will probably not be finished any time soon if ever.
But I can always hold some shred of hope for it.
It is such a good piece of work that I can't hate but think that it wouldn't be finished.
Then again so much time seems to have passed that it will better not to force it.
I loved this journey I went through while reading Philologus & Optivus and as much I hate the fact that we were left off at the most crucial moment possible and I'd love to find out what happens that only you can decide.

I'm a big Jily fan, and I found Philologus a week back. Then I moved on to Optivus, and as anyone can tell you, your story- the ideas, the writing, everything- is just AMAZING!
