I love When marti gets involved! Not one sentence of this story was boring. Definitely one of the best one shots I've ever read

I love Marti and her trying to play matchmaker to win against her best friend was really her. I loved how she did in a typically Marti way with Daphne helping her and a prank even worse than Derek's. She's so conniving and with the excuse of Daphne everyone just goes along with it plus the way Derek is with Marti is so sweet. I liked how they got together in the end.

This is just *beyond* hilarious I love the fact that it's from Marti's POV, and I don't know *how* you managed it, but you managed to keep *everyone* in chracter.

I like how Marti is like mini!Derek, with her "evil take-over-the-world plans" (or just operation Dasey, but sometimes I think taking over the world might be easier than getting those two to admit they like each other!)

And Derek always *does* cave to Smarti cuteness, and the line "Because he's Derek" is just *so* true. There doesn't have to be a reason for anything that Derek does, it's all because He' k.

"Unless you were Marti. And she was Marti, was she not" again, hilarious and true because Marti is the only one for whom Derek bends backwards (another reason why we *adore* him, who wouldn't love a guy like that?)
