I see where you're coming from but i think anyone even shikamaru would get active fore something like this and temari wouldn't be so straight forward, even though she is bold, like anyone she gets shy two as demonstrated in the fourth great ninja war when she is accused of liking shikamaru by some younger genin

ooh... really awesome story... short, but you managed to pull it off. one minor issue: you switched tenses about two paragraphs from the bottom, past to present. still, excellent in general.
