I'm in awe of your writing skills. While there were a couple spelling/grammar mistakes here and there throughout the story, I felt that they didn't detract too much from your storytelling. I enjoyed reading a more realistic story of how Zuko and Katara would have eventually fallen in love, and I liked how you treated their individual characters as well as their existing relationships with Aang and Mai. Bravo on that! I did, however, have a minor problem with some gaps in the storyline. At times it felt like something was skipped over between chapters, but it didn't completely disrupt the flow of the story. I figured that maybe you were trying to establish the passage of time, but the transitions felt choppy in those instances because of lack of information. That said, I still enjoyed your take on Zutara and bringing a darker, more realistic approach to war. Granted, I would have loved to have seen a chapter that explored what happened at Boiling Rock, but I felt the side-stories with Daichi, Smellerbee and company, Mazo and Jing-Wei, and Suki made up for it. Again, really enjoyed this story - even though it appears you stopped posting on this site, I hope that you continued to do something with your writing talent. You're too good to not continue with your craft.

Actually, Katara and Sokka are royalty in the southern water tribe because their father is the chieftain, aka the boss of the southern water tribe. of course Zuko doesn't know this yet, and Katara doesn't see herself that way, so he could still be doing it to irritate her. but she is in fact of highest regards in among her people, their culture just doesn't make it a big deal. And there's is the fact that the culture is also sexist. (northern tribe is worse)

Was this fic inspired by Stormbenders? Cuz we got: a mission; Zuko & Katara working in a teashop in a poor district of the Fire Nation; that scene where Katara is standing on Zukos shoulders... theres a scene like that in SB; Smeller and Longshot have appeared.

Ummmm author so far through the story I was wondering if this was a Katara and Zuko story but I sort of liked that...It's like it could of been in the actual show,goooooood.
