Curt, brief and incredible encapsulations of the Lupin/Tonks story. Well done!

This story had a lot of strong feelings in it. It can't be easy for them to married in such a hard times.

Really really angsty!

I actually feel sorry for Tonks in this relationship.. Not that I don't ship Remus/Tonks, it's just that it seems Tonks have to keep suffering.. And it's upsetting :(

This was very typical them.. But I have a question.. What was the third scene about? I don't quite understand it.. :/

Every section was very well written, and your use of imagery was fantastically evocative. Your characterisation of Remus was suitably tortured, and I loved your portral of Tonks - she was a believable young woman. There was a strong undercurrent of frantic desperation that grew as the story progressed, and the eventual fate of Tonks and Remus cast a shadow over their fragile happiness. Well done.

When I was reading DH, I was trying to imagine what was going through Remus' mind when he was doing these things. I reckon you summed it up perfectly.

Remus is my favourite character, after Albus Dumbledore, in the series, and I definitely think that you did his personality justice.

I've never actually read Remus/Tonks before, but if it's fics like this that await me, I think I've found a new fandom! A lovely, heart-wrenching fic.

Gorgeous. Brilliant writing, and I love the second to last snippet. Wow, Remus and Tonks are both in character, but also very strained and changed by the war which is something readers don't often see in fanfiction. Nicely handled.

Really great story. The moments you show are lovely; the last one, especially, was gorgeous, and I loved Remus's line about "his taint."

This is an interesting view on Remus and Tonks. The tone of the story was very good, and you did a good job portraying them.

The first line sets the tone. That he would feel guilty over making love to his wife, by his preceived loss of control speaks of his mind set, and the fact that he has always fund it difficult to give or accept love. So sad.

Then that he would see his child as putting a "taint" on her...

Very nicely written, and I beleive in character. I can not see Tonks her normal spunky self in these situations, well done.
