This was fucking amazing. Seriously. I'm not religious at all but I loved the allusions to Babel. And i loved the structure of this, how it shifts between characters only to return to previous characters. Pretty unique, in my experience. Your writing is gorgeous.

This is one of those fics that you wish was a movie, because I'd love to see the scene shifting back and forth between characters, going back in reverse to see dead men. It's haunting and beautiful. And I always love a good Death Note story with biblical allusions.

Beautiful. No man can speak the same language, perhaps - but your words are some of theclosest to "truth" that I have seen. I won't build you a tower, because you are not god, perhaps - but your writing is good enough to merit one. Thank you. It was a pleasure to read.

i espcially liked the Near bits, and it makes me really sad for him at the same time. i agree with that, "if only". everything would have turned out so differently had they worked together, but Mello was too young to set aside his pride at the time, and even if he realized that, it was too late.

Awesome narrative structure in this one, I'm completely jealous. I may have to try something like it in one of my non-fanfiction creative writing pieces. I loved the ominous mood of this piece, and all of the story line and how well they all meshed. I just loved it! This is my favorite of the stories of yours I've read so far :D

You (as crazy as it sounds for me) made me like Near and I absolutely hated him in the past. I particularly like your Near the best in this story.
